Social Security and Financial Service Professionals:
Help Your Clients, Help Yourself!
Despite the age, the size, and the economic impact of the Social Security system, the myths and misunderstandings about what the program is, as well as what it isn’t, are sizeable. Unfortunately, financial service professionals sometimes fall victim to the same myths as members of the public.
Kurt Czarnowski, the Social Security Administration’s Regional Communications Director, will provide a general overview of the system. In addition, he will explain how a benefit is computed, when someone can begin to collect, and the impact of work in retirement. He will also touch on the different parts of Medicare, and the various ways that people can conduct business with the Social Security Administration.
Attendees will not only benefit from the presentation professionally, but personally, as well.
